A week of meals (5) costs $65, which comes out to just $13 for a fresh, healthy meal! Just heat & eat.

When do I order?

All orders must be placed by Wednesday at 5:00 pm for the following week’s meals.

Once your order is confirmed by a Stacked Plates representative, a Venmo request will be sent the Thursday before the week the meals are to be delivered.

Please pay upon request receipt.

How do I get my meals?

At this time, delivery is included with your meal price. Deliveries/Pickups are Mondays and Wednesdays.

We are working on securing other pickup locations throughout the Greater Utica area. We offer AM or PM deliveries and are willing to meet within a reasonable distance.

Meet Chef Dale!

After a lifetime of being overweight, our chef, Dale Litz- a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America, who’s been classically trained, and industry-raised had finally reached a point where he was tired of feeling like garbage, physically and mentally due to unhealthy eating and a lack of physical activity. Dale had tried fad diets and his weight had yo-yoed up and down for years.  He realized that if he was going to be successful at living a healthier lifestyle, he had to totally change his lifestyle!

In the summer of 2023, Dale joined a local gym and began to learn about the role nutrition played in his physical well-being.  He began going to the gym four days a week and worked to change his eating habits through meal-planning.  He learned that food is fuel for the body and that better fuel means better performance.  But as a chef, Dale was not willing to sacrifice taste.  He refused to eat plain chicken, brown rice, and steamed broccoli day in and day out.  So, our chef began taking his love of food from all around the world and using his culinary expertise to inspire creative dishes that were as delicious as they were healthy.  But it wasn’t enough to make healthy and delicious foods once in a while.  Our chef recognized the importance of planning out meals for the week to ensure he didn’t fall off track.  Dale realized if he kept good food in the fridge, he ate good food.  After a few weeks, he started losing weight and gaining muscle.  But more importantly, he felt so much better about himself.  Simple things like getting out of bed and playing with his daughter were becoming easier and he took pride in the fact that he had successfully changed his lifestyle for the better.

After talking with friends and family who were also looking to improve their well-being, many of whom hinted- not so subtlety- that they wished he would meal-prep for them, our chef had a lightbulb moment.  What if he could provide people that don’t like to cook, never have time to cook, eat the same thing over and over, eat junk too often, can’t stand grocery shopping, and hate working in the kitchen with a balanced, nutritious, globally inspired menu of meals that are ready when they need it in just a few minutes?  Dale knew he had the tools and the know-how, so he did it.  Together with his supportive wife and enthusiastic daughter, he built Stacked Plates to bring Central NY a much-needed meal prep service as healthy as it is delicious
